Gather round kids, I have a headcanon to share.

The background of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is vague but one thing is certain. Five children were murdered, their bodies never found by police. Since then, the animatronics had been described as walking corpses. It’s been thought that they’re possessed by the dead children, furthered by the audio glitch that’s been discovered. The animatronic screams usually stop half way through the track, but if they carry on they become what sounds like a child’s scream.

So, this got me thinking. If these things are possessed by children, but how often does the child shine through the character they portray?

Foxy has unique behaviour in the game. Hiding behind the curtains of pirate’s cove, where he seems to be rotting away. He only comes out when the cameras aren’t watching, only to run to the security room and find you there.

My theory? Foxy, until he successfully runs into the security room, is recreating his final living moments as a child. His injured self, hiding in pirate’s cove, waiting for the opportune moment to run to the security room to grab to phone in hopes that someone will come to save him, before his murderer catches up to finish him off.

When you shut that door just in time, he bangs against it in despair, before hiding once more. He’s stuck in an endless and terrified cycle, unless he finds you first.

This was supposed to be an Astrid’s Hair Appreciation Post but I think it just turned into an Astrid Appreciation Post because … well, every part of her is perfect.

I see your shifting gaze, that disgusted glance. I know you’re questioning my parenting from across the elementary school assembly.

Let me tell you a little story about the kindergarten student with bright purple hair, my little Raven Marie…

A month before school started she decided to play hair stylist with the craft scissors, and to save what was left I had to opt for a pixie cut. She was absolutely devastated. It was about three hours before she stopped her harsh sobbing and hiccups.

Why?

She has thought that the length of a girls hair was what made her “girly”. I know I’ve personally had many hairstyles around her before, including a purple mohawk, which many people criticized as not being “girly” enough. Media, other children, other parents, and society made it worse. She would randomly burst in tears while out in public for the first week of her new style, screaming that she looked like a boy. That everyone would think she’s a boy.

At one point she took off her bow in her hair, threw it at a cashier and screamed, “I DON’T NEED THIS BOW TO TELL YOU THAT I’M NOT A BOY, BECAUSE I’M NOT”

Proudly stomping away in her blue jean overalls, head held high.

Once we edged closer to the first day of school she kept asking questions like, “Do you think the other kids will like me? Do you think they’ll be my friend? Will they think I’m a boy? Will they pick on me because I have boy hair?”

So I went to the grocery store, bought some dye, and spent the whole night transforming my bright blonde little girl into a plum punk rock fairy. I then assured her that if any of the kids didn’t like her, they were just jealous.

As for you, mothers and teachers with the wandering eyes filled with disgust and judgement, I’m in the business of raising a free spirit.

Here’s to you, Raven Marie. I love you.

Look at how fucking adorable that kid is holy fucking shit

Jack’s little sister somewhat resembles Jamie Bennett. It is possible Jamie is a descendant from Jack’s little sister, which might be the reason Jack felt drawn to Jamie. When Peter Ramsey, the director of ROTG, was asked about this, he answered: “Who knows…! It could be possible… One of my regrets is that we didn’t have more screen time in the movie to flesh things out a bit more. Is there a bigger connection between Jamie and Jack? Yeah, that could be a definite possibility, that there’s some kind of lineage connection like that. It’s one of those movie mysteries.”
